About The Course
This course examines how laundries operate within a healthcare setting.
The topics discussed will be relevant to the management of traditional in-house laundries as well as regional and central laundries which support multiple Healthcare institutions. Please note that course registration is non-refundable.
Time Commitment
Students can successfully progress through the program and complete it within the allotted time frame of six months. With the program being self-paced, there is no mandatory timeline for completing the deliverables.
It is estimated that four- to five-hours of study per week would be required to complete this course.
Mentor Support Available
Although this course is designed to be completed independently and does not include a dedicated mentor, CHHA does have mentors available to provide educational support to course participants who require assistance in understanding the program’s components, requirements, or learning materials.
Participants are encouraged to reach out to CHHA with questions or for clarification as they progress through the course. Our goal is to help ensure every participant has the information and support they need to successfully navigate and comprehend the program.

Yes, the course is designed in a manner that is easy to understand. The intention is that everyone will be successful. Help is always available.
Once you have logged in, click in the “Courses” link on the site menu and select “My Course Progress” to view your profile page. Here you’ll see courses you are enrolled in and be able to expand the section to show your results and certificate. When your Mentor has marked your assignments, you will receive an e-mail from the system with a link, providing your marks and any comments they provided. You must be logged in to open the link.
Completion Criteria
The criteria for completion of the Laundry and Linen Technology Program is based a final exam. A certificate of completion is issued to participants who successfully complete all required components of the program and score 80% or higher overall.

- $650.00 + HST for members.

Payment can be made by Credit Card, Cheque or EFT.
Registration Confirmation
Upon successful registration you will receive a confirmation email with your login information, within 5 business days, you’ll receive your introduction package and assigned mentor.
